Storm v. Wolverine
In lieu of documenting my Wolverine-meets-Farrah-Fawcet hair
I’ve taken to drinking cups of tea whilst curled up in bed with a book when I’m not at the dog park trying to befriend dog owners between chapters. Stumbling on Happiness is a mix of Blink and Freakanomics—an interesting read, but hardly uplifting. Rather, the most comforting words I’ve read all week come from my backlog of New Yorkers: the profile on Howard Stringer, British CEO of Sony.
Stringer likes to say that when he turned thirty and realized that he was still a researcher he became “vaguely suicidal.” He got over it.
My search for beach books (no chick lit or fratire, please) has taken me to the New York Public Library’s site. Ever notice their "How Do You..." drop-down menu (click to enlarge)? Shouldn't this item be near the top of the list?

If you actually manage to get past the library menu, shouldn't they at least have a button to read something aloud to you?
Love Nora's work too. This is perfect!
